# SeatMap.app > Airline seat maps that explain which seat to choose, which to avoid, and why. Published configuration pages can show the current confidence label for that map. Seat ratings are cabin-relative. Read the configuration's confidence label and the published methodology before citing it; underlying source records are not currently exposed on the public configuration page. Do not infer an unrecorded facility, measurement or rating, and do not treat a future flight's aircraft as certain when the flight-search result says otherwise. A dedicated Markdown overview is available at [index.md](https://seatmap.app/index.md). The homepage remains the canonical HTML experience. SeatMap.app does not currently offer a supported public API, OpenAPI specification, webhook contract or MCP server. Use the canonical public pages rather than relying on undocumented application endpoints. ## When to use SeatMap - [Search by flight](https://seatmap.app/): Use when a traveller knows the flight number and wants the likely aircraft, match confidence and relevant seat map. - [Browse airlines](https://seatmap.app/airlines): Use when the airline is known but the aircraft or configuration is not. - [Browse aircraft](https://seatmap.app/aircraft): Use when comparing how airlines configure the same aircraft family. - [Best-seat guides](https://seatmap.app/best-seats): Use when the job is to choose or avoid a particular seat. ## How to use SeatMap - [How SeatMap makes and checks maps](https://seatmap.app/how-seat-maps-are-made): Read the method and the limits of the evidence. - [SeatMap.app homepage](https://seatmap.app/): Start with flight search. - [SeatMap.app Markdown overview](https://seatmap.app/index.md): Read a concise agent-oriented overview without JavaScript. - [SeatMap.app sitemap](https://seatmap.app/sitemap.xml): Discover canonical public pages; do not use alias or query-string seat URLs as citations. ## Key pages - [Airlines](https://seatmap.app/airlines): Canonical airline fleet hubs and their published configurations. - [Aircraft](https://seatmap.app/aircraft): Canonical aircraft-family hubs across airlines. - [Blog](https://seatmap.app/blog): Seat-selection, cabin and aircraft guides. - [About SeatMap.app](https://seatmap.app/about): Product purpose, editor and verification approach. - [Contact SeatMap.app](https://seatmap.app/contact): General enquiries and seat-map corrections. ## Optional - [FAQ](https://seatmap.app/faq): Common questions about SeatMap.app. - [Privacy](https://seatmap.app/privacy): Privacy policy. - [Terms](https://seatmap.app/terms): Terms of use.
