Available only for supported airline bid programmes when SeatMap finds an eligible cabin pair on a seat map or confirmed flight.
SeatMap cannot see the airline's live bids or cabin bookings. The result uses published programme rules and broad conditions, not a win probability.

Try the inputs
The useful part is not a bigger number.
Anyone can type a bid. The harder decision is where value ends. Upgrade Bid puts the fare gap and airline minimum into a visible band, then explains why your offer lands inside or outside it.
Open it from a confirmed flight's Upgrade bids outlook or from a seat in the target cabin. Back returns to the flight result or selected seat you started from.
The free outlook and manual inputs stay open to everyone. Personalised numbers and the verdict unlock with Pro, and paid fields never leave the server for a Free user.

Aircraft-change alerts
The other decision that should not arrive silently.
01
Add the flight
Flight number and date. That is the whole setup.
02
SeatMap watches it
SeatMap compares the provider-reported scheduled aircraft. The watch expires at 00:00 UTC two days after the saved flight date.
03
The email records the update
The email shows the previous and latest provider reports and when SeatMap observed the update. A matching map helps you compare; it does not confirm the operated aircraft or your airline-assigned seat.

The allowance
One trip is four flights.
A return with one connection books four flight numbers. Put two trips on the calendar and a one-flight allowance is gone before the second departure.
Pro watches up to 10 flights at once, so the whole calendar fits.
- Free plan
- 1 flight watched
- Pro
- 10 flights watched
What you back
The thing your money keeps honest.
When a matching map is available, the alert links to seats rated with the reason why and the confidence label recorded for that configuration. If no map matches the latest provider report, the alert links back to flight search instead.
Membership supports the work behind SeatMap. Source and verification records vary by configuration, so read the evidence on the map you use. See how a seat map gets made.

The price
Everything Pro costs.
Early membership, full price transparency. No tiers, no add-ons, no feature matrix: a 7-day free trial, one allowance, two ways to pay for it, and cancelling is a button on terms you can read in a minute.

The disqualifier
Who should not pay
If the free bid outlook, free seat maps and one aircraft-change watch cover your trip, keep the money. Pro earns its place when you need a personalised bid decision, an AI seat pick or room for more watched flights.

Straight answers
What does the free plan include?
Seat maps, ratings and verdicts stay free to view. The free plan also watches one flight for provider-reported scheduled aircraft updates. Pro raises that allowance to 10.
Does Pro get better seat data?
No. Accuracy is never paywalled. Pro buys capacity, not better answers.
What else is in Pro?
Today's Pro benefits: Watch up to 10 flights for provider-reported aircraft updates; AI seat suggestions for a selected SeatMap configuration; Personalised fair-value bands for upgrade bids. What you pay funds the map-checking either way.
What exactly arrives when an aircraft changes?
The email records the flight, the previous provider report, the latest provider report, and when SeatMap observed the update. A matching map is a comparison aid, not confirmation of the aircraft that will operate the flight or the airline-assigned seat. Provider updates and email can be delayed or missed, so check the airline.
How do I cancel?
Cancel yourself from the account page by opening Manage subscription. Cancel during the 7-day free trial and you are not charged. Otherwise, your cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Read the terms.
Can I get a refund?
We do not offer voluntary or pro-rata refunds for an unused part of a billing period, except where required by law. Pro access continues until that paid period ends. Read the refund policy.
Which flights can I watch?
Watching requires an account with a verified email. Then start with a flight number and date. The flight lookup must return usable data, and the flight must not have departed. If the lookup cannot find the service, the date sits beyond available flight data or watch setup is unavailable, SeatMap will tell you instead of starting a watch it cannot run.
The bottom line
Pay for decisions you can use.
Upgrade Bid gives you a defensible ceiling, Seat Advisor helps choose the seat, and provider-reported aircraft watches cover up to 10 flights. The membership helps fund the research and product work behind the maps.
