On this older 777-300 variant the business seats use an angled-flat or cradle design rather than the fully flat reverse-herringbone found on Cathay's newer aircraft. Not all seats in the two-three-two layout have direct aisle access, so aisle access may require negotiating past your neighbour depending on where you sit.

Ten-abreast three-four-three is the standard 777 economy configuration. The four-seat centre block is the sticking point: the two inner middle seats have no easy escape route to an aisle or window. For solo travellers, an aisle seat on the outside of either triple is a much better proposition. The cabin itself is reasonably wide; it is the seat allocation within it that matters most.

Exit rows and the bulkhead row at the front of economy provide meaningfully more floor space than standard rows. Bulkhead seats have the in-flight entertainment screen stored in the armrest, which can make it slightly more intrusive. Exit-row seats may have limited or fixed recline depending on configuration. Check the specific seat map before your flight to confirm which rows apply.
