Both use a one-two-one layout with direct aisle access, but First suites are larger, more enclosed and come with a significantly more private feel. The in-flight experience — bedding, dining and service — is also a meaningful step up. Club World is still a competitive long-haul business product; First is simply more generous on space and curation.

The Dreamliner cabin runs at a higher atmospheric pressure and lower altitude equivalent than older aircraft types, which reduces the dehydration and fatigue that make long-haul economy hard. The windows are also larger. The seat pitch and width are similar to other BA long-haul economy products, but the cabin environment itself is noticeably better on an overnight or ultra-long-haul route.

The very last rows tend to see more foot traffic from passengers queuing for the rear toilets, and galley noise can be noticeable on overnight flights. Middle seats in any row of three are the natural last resort. If you prefer a quieter experience, aim for the mid-cabin rows, away from both the galley areas and the bulkhead.
